Our Great Kiwi Morning Tea!

Great Kiwi Morning Tea from Kieren Moriarty on Vimeo.

Our Great Kiwi Morning Tea was amazing!  We raised $820 for our kiwi, our National Icon. A huge thank you to Mrs Carr, our amazing organiser; Dom, our inspiration; Rimu Whanau, our genius bakers; and Parkvale School, our amazing supporters. You all made it happen!

Today we received an email (including a thank you video) from Kiwis for Kiwi.

I just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone at Parkvale School for your amazing efforts and raising $820 with the Great Kiwi Morning Tea. That's just brilliant!

I did a little video to say thank you if you'd like to show it to your students. Please find attached.

Your receipt and certificate are in the post.

Thank you again for your fantastic support.

Best regards,

Sarah

The best thing about the video is that Sarah Nutbrown shared that our $820 will protect eight kiwis for a year. Wow!

Great Kiwi Morning Tea Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the Great Kiwi Morning Tea. Rimu will have a cake stall. Baking will cost from 50c to $2 (depending on the item). All the money is going towards helping save the kiwi: “to help protect kiwi and the places they live. Because we can’t imagine New Zealand without kiwi.”

Here's a preview of our wonderful goodies for tomorrows bake sale. So many choices and I think there's more to come. Thank you to our great Rimu Whanau for their efforts, everything looks delicious.

Please buy me. I'm cute!
Our national icon.
The baking is rolling in!
